# Enphase

Part of the [compatibility overview](/integrations/compatibility), which lists every selectable Mains type.

* Requires an **IQ Gateway** (Envoy, IQ Combiner) with **firmware 7.0 or
  newer**, reachable in the local network, with **three-phase** CT metering
  for the grid reading. Single- or split-phase metering is rejected with
  *expected data for 3 phases*.
* The station authenticates against the gateway with a token issued by
  Enphase. Enter the gateway's serial number and the Enphase account
  credentials in the station; an internet connection is needed when the token
  is issued or renewed.
* IQ Battery power and state of charge are read.
* This is the local metering integration. The OCPP-based Enphase *IQ Energy
  Router* is a separate product on the Enphase side and is not configured
  here.
